Safety Notice
An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. By attending SFWC, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19, and agree to follow the guidelines set in place by the SFWC team. These safety procedures are not just to keep you safe, but to ensure the good health of everyone else at the conference, especially those among us who are immunodeficient or just uneasy about interacting in large crowds without protection.
Masks:
Everyone in attendance at SFWC, whether inside or outside, must wear a mask that covers your nose and mouth, regardless of vaccination status. This applies to all conference events and activities, except meals. We will have some masks available if you forget yours.
ALL Events:
In accordance with public health guidance, all attendees at ANY SFWC event (including panels, keynotes, and free and paid events), will need to provide proof of full vaccination* or proof of a negative COVID-19 result within 48 hours before they arrive at the conference.
*Second vaccine dose/boosters to be administered at least two weeks pre-event.
*All staff, volunteers, sponsors, and authors will be fully vaccinated or have received a negative COVID-19 test result within 48 hours before they arrive at the conference.
