In this presentation, you will learn the first steps to take when venturing into the world of the entertainment industry. Finding your voice and building your brand. Finding your tribe and building relationships with industry professionals.

In this presentation, you will learn the ins and outs of life as a working screenwriter. Topics include: What to expect from agents/managers, pitching new projects, landing open writing assignments, understanding the importance of development notes, and how to do rewrites for actors and directors. Research methods. Fair use and copyright laws.
