Jill Roberts is the managing editor at the acclaimed, independent speculative-fiction publishing house, Tachyon Publications LLC. Since joining Tachyon in 2002, she has overseen over 120 book publications, including novels, collections, and anthologies with bestselling authors and editors including Peter S. Beagle, Brandon Sanderson, Nalo Hopkinson, Ellen Datlow, and Jane Yolen. Her editing projects include the Campbell and Neukom award-winner, Central Station, and she was a consulting editor at Streetside Stories, a Bay Area nonprofit which cultivates the voices of young people from underrepresented communities. Roberts has also been a columnist and reviewer for the library newsletter Books to Watch Out For, and the Thirteenth Moon literary magazine. She has appeared at numerous conventions and has spoken on panels at the Nebula Awards, WisCon, and Fan Nexus. Roberts lives in San Francisco.
